Meet Your Provider - Echo Environmental
My title
Echo Environmental and its sister company, ITAD USA, were born out of a precious metals company but soon evolved to more than that. Today, Echo Environmental has divisions that service the electronics and scrap metals industries, as well as IT asset management and IT asset disposition.
Echo Environmental has been in business since 2012. Echo Environmental is now a nationwide IT asset disposition solutions provider and eWaste recycler that creates custom solutions for proper disposal of excess, obsolete, and end-of-life IT assets while focusing on data security, environmental compliance, and value recovery.
Employing 125 employees and operating out of a 175,000 square foot facility located in Carrollton, Texas, Echo Environmental’s goal is to understand the needs of your organization and then format a plan that best solves those needs.
One thing that makes Echo Environmental different from its competitors is its philosophy; that no clients’ needs are the same, every customer has a 100% unique program.
Jeff Remakel is Echo Environmental’s VP of Sales and Marketing. Before joining the ITAD industry, Jeff worked as a production manager for a large semiconductor equipment manufacturer. In 2003, Jeff joined a universal waste recycler where eWaste recycling was part of the service, and he was responsible for selling all the eWaste scrap commodities after the demanufacturing process.
Jeff and his team at Echo Environmental enjoy putting together a solution that provides the best data security, environmental compliance, and customer experience. As Jeff will tell you, Echo Environmental operates “outside the box” and creates solutions that best fits the needs of our customer.
Echo Environmental focus is on Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and educational institutions. Echo Environmental is certified to R2 2013, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Jeff sees ITADCentral as a win-win for Echo Environmental and potential clients. According to Jeff, “ITADCentral is beneficial to Echo Environmental by adding additional business opportunities. And the client benefits from ITADCentral by easily getting competitive quotes with just one click.”
