Transpere has over thirty years of experience in management of IT assets for corporations, government agencies, and healthcare and education institutions. Transpere roots go back even further. The Transpere, as we know it today, evolved from a 2007 spinoff from IMS recycling which specialized in scrap metals since 1954.

Rick Lewis, CEO of Transpere, has been in the ITAD and e-scrap sectors for over 25 years. In 2004, Rick became the first fully vetted onsite data destruction service provider for a major OEM. He cofounded ITAD company Techway Services. He also created a joint venture, GEEP Texas, a branch of Ontario-based GEEP Global.

Transpere has processed millions of pounds of electronic waste and has aligned itself with electronic OEMs to assist in the disposal of excess inventory in an environmentally compliant and profitable manner. Its process is designed to be environmentally responsible and mitigate risk while maximizing asset value recovery.
