For more than 30 years, BCS has served its clients’ surplus and end-of-life asset needs. BCS IT & Data Center Asset Management Services, as it is formally known, is part of BCS Recycling Specialists Asset Management Group.

Jonathan Manhan founded Buyers Consultation Services in 1988. Before rounding out its service offering with IT asset disposition, BCS mainly focused on electronics recycling, consumer returns, excess inventories and product liquidations.

In 2015, BCS launched its IT Asset Disposition division to support multiple national contracts, and industry veteran Chris Jackson was brought on board to build and oversee all ITAD-related activities.

Today, BCS is a full-service IT asset disposition, recovery, remarketing and recycling organization that offers a wide variety of services designed to exceed customer expectations at every service level. BCS has approximately 250 employees spread across over 300,000 square feet of processing facilities, with locations in Los Angeles, Simi Valley, Indianapolis, and Atlanta.

As an R2, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certified organization, all processes are approved and documented per a stringent environmental management system. BCS processes all materials with an emphasis on data security, environmental consciousness and reintroduction into secondary markets, while utilizing sustainable recycling methodologies.
